AI Recap Bot for Rumble Streams
Rumble support is on our roadmap. We plan to support Rumble with chat monitoring via polling and audio capture via yt-dlp, so viewers can get instant AI summaries with !recap. Development has not started yet — check back for updates.
Rumble Integration Features
Polling-Based Chat
Rumble doesn't expose a WebSocket chat API. CatchUp polls the chat endpoint at regular intervals to capture new messages.
Audio via Stream URL
Stream audio is captured directly from the Rumble stream URL using yt-dlp and processed through Whisper AI.
Roadmap Status
Rumble adapter development has not started yet. We're prioritizing full YouTube, Twitch, and Kick support first.
Nightbot Compatible
Use Nightbot mode to keep your existing bot while CatchUp provides recap text via public API.
